Squad health check

Importance of a squad health check

Success does not come overnight and is rarely the result of one person alone. The ability to work together brings more value than the expertise of individuals.

The Squad Health Check is a specialised Virsas tool for teams who are looking to improve the way they work together and where team members can share their opinions honestly.

Goals of a Squad Health Check

• Increase trust within the team

• Have better relationships

• Raise awareness of issues and fix them

Team management

There are two ways to create a team. One is from the main page of the squad health check. The second one is from the team management page located at the top right corner. You can create as many teams as you wish with any number of members. This way, you can check the health of any group of employees within your organization.

Access of team members

Members of a team can access, manage and read the boards of the group. Only an administrator can add or remove team members. The read and write access is based on the role assigned to each user and can be found in the user list.

Creating a team health check board

Within each team, you can create any number of boards. Each board is named based on the date of creation, and all team members have access to this board.

Votes and results

After you create a board, you should allow each team member to vote. Hovering over the question mark will get an explanation of each row. After the voting is over, you can press the "complete" button to access the trends of the whiteboard. Trends calculation is between the last completed squad health check and this one. If this is your first health check meeting, the pattern is compared to a neutral state of team health.
