Importance of event interaction service

If you want to organize a successful conference, your audience must be heard. But this is not easy to achieve.

Common issues with the Q&A

• If the Q&A is at the end of the session, your audience can forget some of the questions.

• If the Q&A is part of the session and your audience can ask questions anytime, it gets very distracting.

• Not everyone is brave enough to voice their concerns in front of their colleagues. You can miss the opportunity to answer some of the most important questions.

• Questions are not upvoted or filtered, you have no control over asked questions, and few important ones might get lost.

The Question Service is a specialised Virsas tool to eliminate all the known issues and to maximise the effectiveness of your Q&A. Any team can use it at any event. The audience can ask questions anonymously, upvote those that matter the most, and you can filter out irrelevant ones. And if you have no time to answer them at all, you can always do this after the conference.

Event management

There are two ways to create an event. One is from the main page of the Question tool. The second one is from the event management page located at the top right corner. You can create as many events as you wish with any number of members. This way, you can interact with your audience at any conference or company meeting.

Access of event members

Members of an event can access, manage and read the questions. Only an administrator can add or remove event members. The read and write access is based on the role assigned to each user and can be found in the user list. However, there is one more option. You can make the event global, and all users of your account will have access to this event, even if users are not in the list of members.

Questions and approval process

Any member of the event can ask any number of questions. Publicly these questions can be asked anonymously. The event can be created with the approval requirement. In this case, the questions will get to an approval queue and will require approval before being displayed. Otherwise, all items will be approved automatically.

Votes, highlights and offline replies

The audience can upvote any number of questions. The most voted ones will get to the top of the list, and you can answer questions based on the interest of your audience. You can also highlight the item you are currently trying to explain. This way, your audience will have a clear understanding of the topic. But in case you have no chance to answer all the questions. You can take this event offline and answer the rest of them at your leisure.

Public access

You can share your event with your public audience. In this case, the audience does not need to be a registered user at Virsas. All you need to do is to share the URL, and anyone can ask you a question.
